3in1 Cheshire Cat Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern
Cheshire Cat Baby Blanket – Crochet Pattern by Crafting Happiness
When I designed the Chesire Cat Hooded Blanket, I knew I have to make a version for your little one’s room. The Cheshire Cat Baby Blanket was designed for those of you who love Alice In Wonderland and decided to create a magical themed nursery.
And what a great idea! A cuddly warm blanket or playmat that the baby can play with and then it folds into a decorative Cheshire cat toy to decorate the nursery.
This blanket is perfect for a minimalist home, it’s gender-neutral and looks gorgeous when folded and rested on the cot.
I used the cluster V stitch pattern for the blanket part and chose grey and blue for the colors because I think it looks so cute. And of course, it has a big grin on his face which I tried really hard not to make it look too creepy. What do you think? Cute or creepy?
And of course, feel free to change the colors and embroider a different mouth to turn this design into a regular cat blanket perfect for all the cat lovers out there.

Cheshire Cat Baby Blanket – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am stuck on this pattern, can you help?
Every pattern you purchase from my shop comes with help and support. I will help you get unstuck and finish your project, so you can buy with confidence and try something new.
If you are completely new to crocheting, I recommend starting with beginner patterns and building up your confidence, pay attention to the skill level of my patterns and buy only if you are already at that level.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t contact me if there is a mistake or something unclear with this pattern, it simply means that you will need to learn the stitches, and the techniques and learn how to read a pattern on your own.
You can contact me by messaging me on my Facebook page, Crafting Happiness, or by messaging me on Instagram.
Can I crochet this blanket using DK yarn (light worsted yarn #3)?
Yes, you can! The body parts will come out a little smaller than my own, but still in the same shape. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting more chains in the starting chain. Instructions on how to adjust the size of the blanket are in the pattern.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. I recommend this yarn because it has beautiful colors and washes well.
Here is a list of alternative yarns I recommend.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of starting chains and rows.
Can I sell items made with your pattern?
Yes, you can if you make them yourself. Mass production of my patterns is not allowed without written consent from me, the designer. Please check the copyright section for more details.

I’m legally blind and see a little in each eye from a eye stroke 6 years ago. Is this a easy pattern to flow? All my grand kidos love cats.

Have you ever done a puppy or otter baby blanket. My daughter had a little human on the way and I would love to make this blanket. She has 2 Boston terriers and a pug. Although an otter is her spirit animal. What do you think. I would gladly pay for a pattern. 😁
