3in1 Safari Lion Baby Blanket
3in1 Safari Lion Baby Blanket – Crochet Pattern by Crafting Happiness
Hey there, fellow crocheter, let me introduce you to my latest design: the 3in1 Safari Lion Baby Blanket.
What a great idea for the nursery! A cuddly warm blanket or playmat that the baby can play with and then it folds into a decorative lion toy to decorate the nursery.
The 3in1 Lion Baby Blanket is perfect for a minimalist home, it’s gender-neutral and looks gorgeous when folded and rested on the cot.
I used the star stitch pattern for the blanket part of the design because it has a beautiful texture and kinda looks like the swirls on a lion’s fur.
I chose gold and brown colors to give a realistic look to the lion, but of course, feel free to change the colors and turn it into a fun toy for your little one.

3in1 Safari Lion Baby Blanket – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am stuck on this pattern, can you help?
Every pattern you purchase from my shop comes with help and support. I will help you get unstuck and finish your project, so you can buy with confidence and try something new.
If you are completely new to crocheting, I recommend starting with beginner patterns and building up your confidence, pay attention to the skill level of the patterns and buy only if you are already at that level.
NOTE: The promo version of this pattern does not come with the same help, just because it’s not fair on those who support me and bought this pattern.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t contact me if there is a mistake or something unclear with this pattern, it simply means that you will need to learn the stitches, and the techniques and learn how to read a pattern on your own.
You can contact me by messaging me on my Facebook page, Crafting Happiness, or by messaging me on Instagram.
Can I crochet this blanket using DK yarn (light worsted yarn #3)?
Yes, you can! The body parts will come out a little smaller than my own, but still in the same shape. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting more chains in the starting chain. Instructions on how to adjust the size of the blanket are in the pattern.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. I recommend this yarn because it has beautiful colors and washes well.
Here is a list of alternative yarns I recommend.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of starting chains and rows.
Can I sell items made with your pattern?
Yes, you can if you make them yourself. Mass production of my patterns is not allowed without written consent from me, the designer. Please check the copyright section for more details.

Ariana – I ordered (and paid for thru PayPal) your Dinosaur baby blanket pattern but, unfortunately, I never received it and now it is too late to make it for the Shower for which it was intended. I tried contacting you through Etsy and I understand that PayPal has contacted you as well but to no avail, and now I am awaiting a credit to my account. In the meantime I would like to order your Lion baby blanket pattern, but I’m not quite sure what’s going on. Can you help me? Thanks!

Hello Elaine, sorry you have not got your pattern, I was able to find your order on Etsy, but there are no messages from you or any notifications in Paypal. You can still access your pattern, please contact me on Etsy and we can take it from there. If you want to order the lion baby blanket, first create an Etsy account, you will be able to access your download at any time from it. You bought your dinosaur blanket as a guest and that makes things so much harder. I hope this helps.
