Basketweave Stitch (One Row Repeat)
Super Easy Basketweave Stitch – Step By Step Photo & Video Tutorial
I love working with back and front post stitches! They are easy to crochet and you can create amazing textured patterns like the waffle stitch or the elongated alpine stitch.
What is the basketweave stitch? The basketweave stitch is a crochet pattern constructed with front and back post double crochet stitches (fpdc and bpdc for short) and a simple one-row repeat that creates a woven-like pattern similar to a basket.
I already showed you how to crochet the classic basketweave stitch, but today I will show you a simpler and easier way to create this beautiful pattern: the one-row repeat basketweave stitch.
Below you will find the step-by-step written pattern and a video tutorial for those of you who find it easier to learn by watching how is it done.

it depends on your tension, yarn and hook used. Make a small sample and see how many stitches in a 10cm area.
