My latest baby blanket pattern is here – Bee Happy Honeycomb Baby Blanket
Bring summer into your home with this bright, super cute baby blanket that looks like a bee honeycomb.
The pattern is easy to make and works up fast, you will crochet it in no time. It also includes the bee applique pattern, you get 2 patterns into one.
It is a modular pattern, meaning you can make it as big or small as you like by adding as many hexagons as you like.
The Bee Happy Honeycomb Baby Blanket is made out of solid hexagons joined with single crochet stitches which give the border a raised texture. Using shades of warm yellows make this blanket look like a honeycomb.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am stuck on this pattern, can you help?
Every pattern you purchase from my shop comes with help and support. I will help you get unstuck and finish your project, so you can buy with confidence and try something new.
If you are completely new to crocheting, I recommend starting with beginner patterns and building up your confidence, pay attention to the skill level of my patterns and buy only if you are already at that level.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t contact me if there is a mistake or something unclear with this pattern, it simply means that you will need to learn the stitches, the techniques, and learn how to read a pattern on your own.
You can contact me by messaging me on my Facebook page, Crafting Happiness, or by messaging me on Instagram.
Can I crochet this blanket using Aran (worsted #4) yarn or DK (light worsted #3) yarn?
Yes, you can! The body parts of the bees and the hexagons will come out a little smaller than my own, but still, in the same shape, use a larger hook than recommended to keep the size as mine. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting more hexagons.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. Here is a list of alternative yarns I recommend.
Can I change the size of the blanket and applique?
Yes, you can. The size can be adjusted by simply changing the number of hexagons you make.
Can I sell items made with your pattern?
Yes, you can. Please check the copyright section for more details.

Hi, thanks for choosing my pattern as your first project. The written pattern specifies you'll need a blunt needle with a large eye to sew the bees together and to the hexagons (If you can't find it, it's on page 2 under supplies). You'll need to use the same yarn you used to make the bees to sew them on, the detailed explanation on how to do that is found on page 6. Hope this helps.

I recently started crocheting and chose this as my first project – I have learned a lot just from one blanket – I need help – how do you attach all the bee parts to each other and to the blanket – I know you said sewing it at the end of the pattern but in the list of supplies it says nothing about needing sewing needles or string ?

You need to make a video of this. How many total skeins did it take?
