Crochet 3in1 Polar Bear Baby Blanket
Polar Bear Baby Blanket – Crochet Pattern by Crafting Happiness
I adore understated blankets that match any theme and interior seamlessly. So, as expected, I fell in love with this beautiful 3in1 Polar Bear Baby Blanket, and I hope you will, too!
It’s a cozy blanket or comfy playmat that the baby can play on and then folds into a lovely polar bear toy to decorate the nursery.
This blanket looks great when folded and rested on the cot. It also offers an adorable touch to a kid’s bed or plain couch that needs subtle decoration.
This blanket is made of Poinsettia Squares that are sewn together using the invisible seamless join technique.
You can make the blanket bigger by adding more poinsettia squares, but remember that if the blanket is too big, it will not fold correctly into a toy.
I used an all-cream motif, but feel free to adjust the color combination according to your liking and needs.

Polar Bear Baby Blanket – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am stuck on this pattern, can you help?
Every pattern you purchase from my shop comes with help and support. I will help you get unstuck and finish your project, so you can buy with confidence and try something new.
If you are completely new to crocheting, I recommend starting with beginner patterns and building up your confidence, pay attention to the skill level of my patterns and buy only if you are already at that level.
You can contact me by messaging me on my Facebook page, Crafting Happiness, or by messaging me on Instagram.
Can I crochet this blanket using Aran yarn (worsted yarn #4)?
Yes, you can! The body parts will come out a little larger than my own, but still in the same shape. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting fewer chains in the starting chain. Instructions on how to adjust the size of the blanket are in the pattern. TIP: use the same crochet hook I recommend in the pattern to keep the size closer to the original.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. Check out the yarn alternatives I have put together for you.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of starting chains and rows. Please keep in mind that making the blanket a lot larger than advised will change the way it looks when folded.
Can I sell items made with your pattern?
Yes, you can if you make them yourself. Mass production of my patterns is not allowed without written consent from me, the designer. Please check the copyright section for more details.

I am working on 3 different snowflake blankets. I love that pattern. It is so easy and works up fast. I just have to sew my first one together and the other 2 are almost ready to sew together. I just need a few more squares. Will post pictures when they are done. Im trying to find a video that will show me how you sewed yours together with the hidden seam.
