Easy Crochet Rose Flower Embellishment

Easy Crochet Rose Flower Embellishment
If you are looking for a simple flower embellishment that you can use on blankets, bags, hats, or to make your own head accessories, look no more.
This Easy Crochet Rose Flower Embellishment works up fast and you can use any yarn scraps you might have around to make them. Win-win!
I used super bulky yarn to make my rose flowers and they came up pretty big. Use this pattern with different yarn weights and hook sizes to get bigger or smaller flowers.
The pattern is adjustable, you can make a longer chain to make a fuller flower (works with thinner yarns).

- If you want to make a fuller flower, make a longer chain. You will need an uneven number of chains in your starting chain.
- The section written between ** is the pattern that needs to be repeated.
- The section between ( ) is made in the same stitch, chain, or chain space
Row 1: ch13, hdc in the 5th ch (this counts as 2hdc separated by 2chs), *sk1, (hdc, ch2, hdc) in next*, repeat from * until the end of the chain, ch1, turn
Row 2: 6dc in the ch2 space between the hdc, *sc in the space between the hdc clusters (where you skipped a chain), 6dc in the ch2 space between the hdc*, repeat from * until the end of the row, fasten off, leave a long tail.
Use the tapestry needle to thread the end at the base of the flower. Roll the piece and use the same end and tapestry needle to sew the base together. Check out the video tutorial for the step-by-step instructions.
