Cat Stitch – Pattern Description

Today, I will show you how to crochet a super fun crochet pattern called the Cat Stitch.

The Cat Stitch is a 3-row repeat crochet pattern that combines simple double crochet and shell stitches to create a seamless pattern that looks like cute cats with pointy ears and little paws.

You can use it to make blankets, scarves, and all kinds of fun things! Perfect for gifts or projects for cat lovers.

I used this stitch to create the blanket for the Calico Cat Baby Blanket in peach, yellow and white.

The cat stitch is easy to learn, especially if you already know how to make a double crochet stitch. You only have to repeat 3 rows and there is no stitch counting.

Use at least 2 colors to create the fun cat shapes.

I used 3 colors to create the watermelon cat stitch: dark pink, pink, and green colors. I also used 3 colors for the chocolate cat stitch: brown, being,e and white.

You can check the swatches below to see how they turned out.
