Crochet Llama Hooded Blanket Pattern Info
Bohemian interior and llama-themed nursery décor are becoming popular these days, and here’s the perfect pattern for you to try out the trend — the Llama Hooded Blanket.
I used the offset cobble stitch for this blanket to recreate the bumpy, wooly look of the llama fur. I also added a colorful section in the middle of the blanket to mimic a saddle.

Why Is It Called A 2in1 Llama Hooded Blanket?
The 2in1 llama hooded blanket acts as a colorful, festive blanket (complete with mittens and a hood) and decoration for the room.
It is a blanket that keeps your child or yourself snug and cozy.
When you’re not using it, fold it back, and it instantly transforms into a fun llama-shaped pillow that you can display on the armchair or sofa.
Perfect as a Colorful Christmas or Birthday Gift for Kids
The Llama Hooded Blanket was designed with animal lovers in mind. So if your little one loves farm animals, particularly Llamas, this is the ultimate blanket to make.
This will be a wonderful Christmas or birthday gift to delight your kids. Plus, it works up fairly quickly and is easier to make than it looks.
When folded up and placed on the sofa, it turns into an adorable llama that makes the space livelier.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am stuck on this pattern, can you help?
Every pattern you purchase from my shop comes with help and support. I will help you get unstuck and finish your project, so you can buy with confidence and try something new.
If you are completely new to crocheting, I recommend starting with beginner patterns and building up your confidence, pay attention to the skill level of the patterns and buy only if you are already at that level.
NOTE: The free version of this pattern does not come with the same help, just because it’s not fair on those who support me and bought this pattern.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t contact me if there is a mistake or something unclear with this pattern, it simply means that you will need to learn the stitches, and the techniques, and learn how to read a pattern on your own.
Can I crochet this blanket using Aran (worsted) or Chunky (bulky) yarn?
Yes, you can! The hood, mittens, and body parts will come out a little smaller than my own if you use one strand, but still in the same shape. You can also make up for the thickness of the super bulky if you use 2 strands of bulky or 4 strands of Aran to crochet the hood and mittens. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting more chains in the starting chain. Instructions on how to adjust the size of the blanket are in the pattern.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. I recommend this yarn because it has beautiful colors and washes well.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of starting chains and rows. Detailed instructions are inside the pattern.
Can I sell items made with your pattern?
Yes, you can if you make them yourself. Mass production of my patterns is not allowed without written consent from me, the designer. Please check the copyright section for more details.
