Crochet Bead Stitch Washcloth Free Pattern

Bead Stitch Washcloths – Free Pattern
These bead stitch washcloths are a great project for beginner crocheters to practice new stitches and make something beautiful and useful in the process.
I have crocheted for you two versions of the bead stitch washcloth, a neutral color one and a version using two colors. You can now use your favorite yarn or your leftovers from a bigger project to crochet them.
Use these washcloths in the bathroom or kitchen, to clean dishes, and surfaces, and even as body scrubs. They make great gifts paired with a natural body soap or your favorite eco dish soap.

Bead Stitch Washcloth Crochet Pattern
- ch3 at the beginning of the row counts as a dc
- ch1 at the end of the row does not count as a stitch
- the stitches contained within the ** are the repeat section
- the number at the end of each row is the number of stitches you should have
- don’t break off the yarn when you change colors, instead, carry the yarn on the side of the piece, you will be crocheting the sc border over it
Single Color Version

Starting Chain: ch27
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc next 25ch = 26
Row 2: Ch3 (counts as a dc), dc in next, *bst, sk 1, dc in next* x 12 times , dc in last stitch, ch1, turn = 26
Row 3: sc in each 26sts = 26
Repeat rows 2 & 3 until the washcloth is 20cm tall (in my case 6 more repeats), don’t fasten off.
