Strawberry Cow Lovey – Crochet Pattern by Crafting Happiness
I’m excited to share the Strawberry Cow Lovey with you! This pattern goes perfectly with the 3in1 Strawberry Cow Baby Blanket, using similar colors and design.
This lovey is great for beginners because it’s easy to make with just basic crochet stitches and amigurumi skills.
Like the baby blanket, I used the same strawberry cow colors and added cute details like strawberry horns and a cow head to make it extra cuddly.
The mini blanket is made with red, pink, and white yarns. I used Acrylic DK yarn and a 4mm hook for the details, and a 5mm hook for the blanket. You can use Aran yarn and matching hooks if you prefer.

Can I crochet this blanket using Aran yarn (worsted yarn #4)?
Yes, you can! The body parts will come out a little larger than my own, but still, in the same shape, use a smaller hook than recommended for Aran yarn to keep the size smaller. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting less rounds.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. Check out the yarn alternatives I have put together for you.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each blanket pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of rounds you make.
