Froggy The Frog Lovey is the cute little brother of the Jungle Frog Baby Blanket, that’s why their colors and style are nearly identical.
Like its big bro, the frog security blanket is made in green, yellow, and white, and features a beautiful flower motif. It has the same little crochet crown, too!
Although this time, I tried a different kind of flower pattern. Instead of the previously used Waterlily Granny Square, this lovey’s blanket is made of 7 African Lotus Flower Hexagons which are sewn to each other.
It’s a pretty and beginner-friendly project that’s perfect if you’re looking for something fun and easy to make for the little one. I had a great time making this lovey, and I hope you will, too.

Froggy The Frog Lovey – A Unique Baby Shower Gift
Froggy The Frog Lovey is designed to fit in a forest-themed or garden-themed nursery or toddler room. You can use a different color combination and adjust the shades to adapt the security blanket to any motif and recipient’s gender.

Yes, you can! The body parts will come out a little smaller than my own, but still in the same shape. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting more flower hexagons.
Do I Have To Use The Same Yarn Brand As You To Get The Same Result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. Check out the yarn alternatives I have put together for you.
