Blizzard The Ice Dragon Baby Loveys
Blizzard The Ice Dragon Baby Loveys – Crochet Pattern by Crafting Happiness
As the adorable younger siblings of the Ice Dragon Baby Blanket, Blizzard The Ice Dragon Baby Loveys are designed to match the baby blanket’s style and color. The pattern comes in 2 versions: Easy and Advanced.
The easy version has a simpler blanket pattern made with the granny stitch in the round, while the advanced one is made with the intricate shell stitch in the round and has a more detailed hand design.
Both versions have fun wings and horns features. I made the loveys in identical colors, but feel free to personalize them with other shades of blue or your recipient’s favorite colors.

Blizzard The Ice Dragon Baby Loveys – The Perfect Baby Shower Gift
The Ice Dragon Loveys are made to fit into a nursery or kids’ room with a magical or fantasy theme. You can adjust the colors to match any color scheme or gender.
Pair them with the ice dragon baby blanket for the ultimate baby shower gift to soon-to-be parents (but if it’s a last-minute gift idea, then the cute loveys alone would be just as wonderful!).
The advanced Ice Dragon Lovey is ideal for long-time crocheters or anyone who likes a challenging yet rewarding design. Its blanket is crocheted with the Shell Stitch and has an extra feature — the fingers.
The easy Ice Dragon Lovey is designed to be manageable for new crocheters. This version is more straightforward, and its blanket is crocheted with the simple granny pentagon pattern.

Blizzard The Ice Dragon Baby Loveys – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am stuck on this pattern, can you help?
Every pattern you purchase from my shop comes with help and support. I will help you get unstuck and finish your project, so you can buy with confidence and try something new.
If you are completely new to crocheting, I recommend starting with beginner patterns and building up your confidence, pay attention to the skill level of my patterns and buy only if you are already at that level.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t contact me if there is a mistake or something unclear with this pattern, it simply means that you will need to learn the stitches, the techniques, and learn how to read a pattern on your own.
You can contact me by messaging me on my Facebook page, Crafting Happiness, or by messaging me on Instagram.
Can I crochet this blanket using Aran yarn (worsted yarn #4)?
Yes, you can! The body parts will come out a little larger than my own, but still, in the same shape, use a smaller hook than recommended for Aran yarn to keep the size smaller. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting less rounds.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. Check out the yarn alternatives I have put together for you.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of rounds you make.
Can I sell items made with your pattern?
Yes, you can. Please check the copyright section for more details.
