3in1 Farm Sheep Baby Blanket

How cute is this farm sheep baby blanket!
What a great idea! A cuddly warm baby blanket that the baby can play with and then it folds into a cute sheep.
The sheep baby blanket is perfect for a minimalist home, it’s gender-neutral and looks gorgeous when folded and rested on the armchair.
I used a modified version of the bobble stitch that still gives the blanket a lot of texture while using a lot less yarn. It also made the blanket softer and flexible because the stitches are not so dense.

Why Is It Called A 3in1 Sheep Baby Blanket?
This cute sheep baby blanket acts as a blanket, a toy or playmat, and a decoration for your loved one’s room.
It is a blanket that keeps your child warm and snuggly at home or while traveling.
Use it as a playmat for your little one and he will keep entertained while playing with the sheep toy.
When you don’t need the blanket anymore, fold it back and it instantly transforms into a cute sheep that you can rest on the armchair or the side of the cot.

The Perfect Baby Shower Gift
The sheep baby blanket was designed to fit into a farm-themed nursery along with the matching sheep baby lovey and sheep wreath.
It will make a wonderful present to a shepherd, a sheep lover or anyone who loves farm animals, matched with the sheep lovey will make a one of a kind baby shower gift.
The blanket is crocheted in gender-neutral colors of white and grey, it’s suitable for boys and girls and will fit any nursery color scheme. Make it your own and choose any color that suits your taste, from pinks for baby girls to blues for baby boys.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am stuck on this pattern, can you help?
Every pattern you purchase from my shop comes with help and support. I will help you get unstuck and finish your project, so you can buy with confidence and try something new.
If you are completely new to crocheting, I recommend starting with beginner patterns and build up your confidence, pay attention to the skill level of my patterns and buy only if you are already at that level.
NOTE: The free version of this pattern does not come with the same help, just because it’s not fair on those who support me and bought this pattern.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t contact me if there is a mistake or something unclear with this pattern, it simply means that you will need to learn the stitches, the techniques and learn how to read a pattern on your own.
You can contact me by messaging me on my Facebook page, Crafting Happiness or by messaging me on Instagram.
Can I crochet this blanket using aran yarn (worsted yarn #4) ?
Yes you can! The body parts will come out a little larger than my own, but still in the same shape, use a smaller hook than recommended for aran yarn to keep the size smaller. The blanket can be adjusted by changing the starting chain count and crocheting more rows.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like, but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of chains you make at the beginning and the number of rows you make. I wouldn’t recommend making it a lot larger because it will not look right when folded (te body will be a lot larger in comparison to the body parts).
Can I sell items made with your pattern?
Yes, you can. Please check the copyright section for more details.

Hi, Was wondering what the brand of bulky yarn you used so I can look it up and buy a comparable yarn here. I need to know the yardage not the gs. Would also like for the other 6 patterns [I haven't read them yet but if you only put the g amt I need to find an American equalivent to use] Thank you!

This Lamb blanket says Free, but I cannot get it , I just keep going around in circle. What am I doing wrong, or is it meant to be this way?, Please don’t say it is free if it’s not.

Hello Lynda, this pattern was free as a promo for 3 days right when it was released. Some of the crochet blogs have picked it up and featured it without reading the pattern was free for 3 days only and that’s why you now see posters all over the internet saying this pattern is free. I’m really sorry you feel misled, unfortunately, I can not control what other people are doing.
May 7, 2020 @ 2:14 am
What’s the size of the head
May 7, 2020 @ 10:47 am
Sorry, at the time I forgot to measure the head so I don’t know now.
