Sloth Baby Blanket – Crochet Pattern by Crafting Happiness
If you enjoy my jungle animal patterns, then you’re going to be thrilled with this latest 3in1 Jungle Sloth Baby Blanket.
A cuddly soft blanket that’s also a playmat where your baby can play on. And when it folds, it turns into an adorable sloth toy you can use to decorate the nursery — what a great idea!
It features gender-neutral colors that would look beautiful for a minimalist home.
When folded and rested on the cot, it makes the nursery even livelier. You can also hang it upside-down to recreate a real sloth’s favorite pose.
I used the blanket stitch to give the sloth’s body a subtle yet lovely texture. The stitch looks super cute that most people would probably think it’s hard to do, but it’s not. It’s relatively easy and fun to crochet.
And as always, feel free to change the colors and personalize the blanket based on your preference and needs.

A Multipurpose Baby Blanket
This sloth baby blanket can be used as a blanket, a play mat, a toy, and a decoration for the nursery. It is perfect for a modern home with limited space.
It is a blanket that helps your child to stay comfy and warm.
When you travel, the entertaining sloth toy attached to the blanket is likely to put your baby in a good, playful mood. It’s also a big plus that it helps your kid’s sensory development.
And at home, you can use it as a fun playmat.
When not in use, fold it back, and it instantly transforms into an adorable sloth decoration for your little one’s room. You can rest or hang it on the cot to continuously entertain the baby.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am stuck on this pattern, can you help?
Every pattern you purchase from my shop comes with help and support. I will help you get unstuck and finish your project, so you can buy with confidence and try something new.
If you are completely new to crocheting, I recommend starting with beginner patterns and building up your confidence, pay attention to the skill level of my patterns and buy only if you are already at that level.
NOTE: The free version of this pattern does not come with the same help, just because it’s not fair on those who support me and bought this pattern.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t contact me if there is a mistake or something unclear with this pattern, it simply means that you will need to learn the stitches, and the techniques, and learn how to read a pattern on your own.
Can I crochet this blanket using DK yarn (light worsted yarn #3)?
Yes, you can! The body parts will come out a little smaller than my own, but still in the same shape. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting more chains in the starting chain. Instructions on how to adjust the size of the blanket are in the pattern.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. I recommend this yarn because it has beautiful colors and washes well.
Here is a list of alternative yarns I recommend.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of starting chains and rows. Please keep in mind that making the blanket a lot larger than advised will change the way it looks when folded.
Can I sell items made with your pattern?
Yes, you can if you make them yourself. Mass production of my patterns is not allowed without written consent from me, the designer. Please check the copyright section for more details.
