3in1 Giraffe Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern

Giraffe Baby Blanket – Crochet Pattern by Crafting Happiness
How cute is this Giraffe Baby Blanket! The giraffe is my latest 3in1 folding blanket and the second in the Safari collection of baby blankets.
I used the diamond waves pattern for the blanket because of the spotted pattern that the long single crochet stitch gives to the wavy pattern. I also gave the giraffe long bony legs and cute floppy ears.
And what a great idea! A cuddly warm blanket that the baby can play with and then it folds into a decorative giraffe toy to decorate the nursery.
This blanket is perfect for a minimalist home, it’s gender-neutral and looks gorgeous when folded and rested on the cot.

A Multipurpose Baby Blanket
The giraffe baby blanket acts as a blanket, a play mat, a toy, and a decoration for the nursery. It is the perfect baby blanket for a modern home where space is limited.
It is a blanket that keeps your child warm and snuggly.
If you travel, your baby stays warm and entertained while playing with the giraffe toy attached to the blanket.
At home, use this blanket as a play mat.
When not in use, fold it back and it instantly transforms into a cute giraffe that you can rest on the cot to entertain your little one or to decorate the nursery.

The Perfect Baby Shower Gift
This adorable giraffe baby blanket will make a wonderful baby shower gift to an expecting mom that can be used year after year as a blanket, toy or playmat.
The Giraffe Baby Blanket was designed to fit into a safari-themed nursery or toddler room. You can adjust the colors to match any color scheme or gender.
The pattern is designed for Aran yarn, but you can use DK yarn if you wish and make adjustments to the blanket size. It’s warm and cuddly and any child would love to have one to snuggle with at night.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am stuck on this pattern, can you help?
Every pattern you purchase from my shop comes with help and support. I will help you get unstuck and finish your project, so you can buy with confidence and try something new.
If you are completely new to crocheting, I recommend starting with beginner patterns and build up your confidence, pay attention to the skill level of my patterns and buy only if you are already at that level.
NOTE: The free version of this pattern does not come with the same help, just because it’s not fair on those who support me and bought this pattern.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t contact me if there is a mistake or something unclear with this pattern, it simply means that you will need to learn the stitches, the techniques and learn how to read a pattern on your own.
You can contact me by messaging me on my Facebook page, Crafting Happiness or by messaging me on Instagram.
Can I crochet this blanket using DK yarn (light worsted yarn #3) ?
Yes, you can! The body parts will come out a little smaller than my own, but still in the same shape. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting more chains in the starting chain. Instructions on how to adjust the size of the blanket are in the pattern.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. I recommend this yarn because it has beautiful colors and washes well.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of starting chains and rows.
Can I sell items made with your pattern?
Yes, you can if you make them yourself. Mass production of my patterns is not allowed without written consent from me, the designer. Please check the copyright section for more details.
