Crochet Bamboo Leaf Stitch Tutorial With Video
Bamboo Leaf Stitch – Pattern Description
I have a new crochet blanket pattern for you which I think you haven’t seen before: Bamboo Leaf Stitch.
When I designed the 3in1 Panda Baby Blanket, I wanted a pattern for the blanket that either mimicked the panda’s coat or is related to its environment, but I couldn’t find anything. So I decided to design my own.
I wanted a stitch resembling bamboo leaves because pandas live in bamboo forests, which is how the Bamboo Leaf Stitch was born.
The Bamboo Leaf Stitch is a four-row repeat crochet pattern made with clusters of puff stitches separated by double crochet stitches and offset on every other row to create a solid textured fabric perfect for baby blankets, afghans, and sofa throws.
I even came up with a unique way of changing the color every row without cutting the yarn. I’ll show you how at the end of the video tutorial.
I tried to make it simple so you don’t have to count stitches or keep track of rows.
This pattern is easy and quick to make and you’ll have a beautiful baby blanket in no time.
