The 2in1 Hooded Dinosaur Hooded Blanket is the first in a long line of animal hooded blankets I am planning to make.
Once my family and friends found out what I was making, they all wanted one for their kids or themselves and now there are 8 different designs in line, so if the dinosaur is not your child’s favorite animal, you will have other options
The blanket is suitable for girls or boys, adults, and kids alike, and comes in two versions: triceratops or stegosaurus so you can choose the design you like best.

Can I crochet this blanket using Aran yarn (worsted yarn #4)?
Yes, you can! The body parts will come out a little larger than my own, but still, in the same shape, use a smaller hook than recommended for Aran yarn to keep the size smaller. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting more rounds.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. Here is a list of alternative yarns I recommend.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of rounds you make.

Do you have this same pattern but for using med. #4weight yarn ?
You can use medium #4 yarn with this pattern, it will come out a little larger, but if you use the same hooks as I used for #3 yarn, the size should be close. The shape of the parts are going to be the same.
