Daisy & Duke The Cow Loveys Crochet Pattern
Daisy & Duke The Cow Loveys – Crochet Pattern by Crafting Happiness
It was a long time coming, but I finally completed the matching loveys to the 3in1 cow baby blanket: Daisy & Duke The Cow Loveys.
The pattern comes with two versions of this cute cow lovey: one for beginners and one for intermediate crocheters.
The beginner version has a simpler blanket pattern made with the granny stitch in the shape of a pentagon, while the intermediate one has a more complex pattern for the blanket made out of granny hexagons.
Daisy has a two-tone ear, while Duke had a black eye patch and 2 different colored ears.

Daisy & Duke The Cow Loveys are designed to fit in a farm-themed nursery or toddler room, you can adjust the colors to match any color scheme or gender.
Pair them with the 3in1 cow baby blanket for the perfect baby shower gift to an expecting mom (or you can just gift the loveys if you are running out of time!).
They are crocheted in neutral colors that will fit any nursery decor but they would look great in bright happy colors. Designed to be unisex, gift them to buys or girls alike.

Daisy & Duke The Cow Loveys – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am stuck on this pattern, can you help?
Every pattern you purchase from my shop comes with help and support. I will help you get unstuck and finish your project, so you can buy with confidence and try something new.
If you are completely new to crocheting, I recommend starting with beginner patterns and building up your confidence, pay attention to the skill level of the patterns and buy only if you are already at that level.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t contact me if there is a mistake or something unclear with this pattern, it simply means that you will need to learn the stitches, and the techniques, and learn how to read a pattern on your own.
You can contact me by messaging me on my Facebook page, Crafting Happiness, or by messaging me on Instagram.
Can I crochet this blanket using Aran yarn (worsted yarn #4)?
Yes, you can! The body parts will come out a little larger than my own, but still, in the same shape, use a smaller hook than recommended for Aran yarn to keep the size smaller. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting more rounds.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. Here is a list of alternative yarns I recommend.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of rounds you make.
Can I sell items made with your pattern?
Yes, you can. Please check the copyright section for more details.

Thank you so much for these beautiful loveys, I make them for a children’s hospital in Florida and am so glad when I get a new pattern. Love your beautiful creations and try to make the loveys as they come out. The children love them.
