3in1 Monkey Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern

Monkey Baby Blanket – Crochet Pattern by Crafting Happiness
It’s time for another baby blanket, this time I created the 3in1 Jungle Monkey Baby Blanket.
And what a great idea! A warm cuddly blanket or playmat that the baby can play on and then it folds into a decorative monkey toy to decorate the nursery.
This blanket is perfect for a minimalist home, it’s gender-neutral and looks gorgeous when folded and rested on the cot. I used the textured cluster stitch for the blanket part to give some texture to the monkey’s coat.

A Multipurpose Baby Blanket
The Monkey baby blanket acts as a blanket, a play mat, a toy, and a decoration for the nursery. It is the perfect baby blanket for a modern home where space is limited.
It is a blanket that keeps your child warm and snuggly.
If you travel, your baby stays warm and entertained while playing with the monkey toy attached to the blanket.
At home, use this blanket as a play mat.
When not in use, fold it back and it instantly transforms into a cute monkey decoration for your nursery that you can rest on the cot to entertain your little one with.

The Perfect Birthday Or Baby Shower Gift
This adorable monkey baby blanket will make a wonderful baby shower gift to an expecting mom that can be used year after year as a blanket, toy, or playmat.
The 3in1 Monkey Baby Blanket was designed to fit into a Wildlife, Safari, or Jungle theme, this monkey will fit right in. Check out my other designs for these nursery decors: the elephant, the giraffe, and the lion.
The pattern is designed with Aran yarn, but you can use DK yarn if you wish, and make adjustments to the blanket size, the body parts will come out just a little smaller but keep their shape.
It’s warm and cuddly and any child would love to have one to snuggle with at night. A great Birthday gift for a little one.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am stuck on this pattern, can you help?
Every pattern you purchase from my shop comes with help and support. I will help you get unstuck and finish your project, so you can buy with confidence and try something new.
If you are completely new to crocheting, I recommend starting with beginner patterns and building up your confidence, pay attention to the skill level of the patterns and buy only if you are already at that level.
NOTE: The gift version of this pattern does not come with the same help, just because it’s not fair on those who support me and bought this pattern.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t contact me if there is a mistake or something unclear with this pattern, it simply means that you will need to learn the stitches, and the techniques and learn how to read a pattern on your own.
You can contact me by messaging me on my Facebook page, Crafting Happiness, or by messaging me on Instagram.
Can I crochet this blanket using DK yarn (light worsted yarn #3)?
Yes, you can! The body parts will come out a little smaller than my own, but still in the same shape. The blanket can be adjusted by simply crocheting more chains in the starting chain.
Do I have to use the same yarn brand as you to get the same result?
No, you don’t. You can use any brand you like but pay attention to the yardage, different brands have different yardage. I recommend this yarn because it has beautiful colors and washes well.
Can I change the size of the blanket?
Yes, you can. Each pattern can be adjusted by simply changing the number of starting chains and rows. Please keep in mind that making the blanket a lot larger than advise will change the way it looks when folded.
Can I sell items made with your pattern?
Yes, you can if you make them yourself. Mass production of my patterns is not allowed without written consent from me, the designer. Please check the copyright section for more details.
